The Throwing App icon: the word THROW brushed in white over a sunset gradient, above a home plate.

Film your throw.
Watch it back.
Know your arm.

A throwing app for pitchers 10 to 14, and for the parents keeping an eye on their arms. Log what you actually threw, watch your own tape, and always know what your arm has left today.

Grown-ups only, please. We store your email address and nothing else, we email you when there’s a build to try, and one line in that email takes you off the list.

Days in a row9

You’ve got about 20 pitches left in the tank today.

A sample day, in the app’s own words. Nothing on this board is a grade.

Three things, and that’s it

What you actually do with it

Throw

Log a session on a big four-zone target grid, one tap per pitch. Undo instead of confirm. Threw at practice with no phone around? Mark the day and it still counts toward your arm’s week.

Film

Prop the phone up, hit one big button, throw. Then watch it back in slow motion, step one frame at a time, pinch in on your arm or your feet, and trim the dead air off the front and back.

Track

Your week, your month, your season, and every clip you kept. Each number is either measured or something you typed in yourself — nothing gets guessed for you and quietly shown as fact.

Arm care

It teaches. It never blocks.

Age-banded pitch counts, rest days that get scheduled instead of scolded, and a plain-language heads-up on your third throwing day in a row. The app tells you what it knows — and then saves your session anyway. Every pitch, every time.

For parents

Your account. Your kid’s data.

Who owns it
You do. The parent account holds consent, payment, and every profile under it. A kid can never change a limit or an override — those controls are not on their screens at all.
The footage
Video is recorded and played back on the device. Your child’s data is never sent off the phone to an outside service to be analyzed. There is no cloud-brain fallback.
Getting it out
Export everything the app holds about your kid, any time. Delete it and the deletion actually propagates — deleted history does not come back on the next save.
What we won’t do
No ads, ever. No randomized-reward purchases. No upsells on a kid’s screen. No leaderboards and no ranking your child against anyone else’s.
The comparison
The only pitcher your kid is measured against is the one they were last session.

Where it stands

Not in the store yet.

It’s being built now and tested on real bullpens. TestFlight is the next step. If you coach a team, or you’ve got a 10-to-14-year-old who throws and a phone you don’t mind propping against a bucket, get on the list — we’ll reach out when there’s a build worth handing you.

Grown-ups only, please. Your email address, nothing else.
